1974 Graduated from Keio University, Bachelor of Engineering Administration.
1976 Received a Master of Engineering from the Keio School of Engineering.
1976 Joined NTT Electrical Communications Laboratories. Developed computer aided
design procedures for commercial communications networks. Published more
than 50 technical papers. Key papers concern logical communications network design (Reference 1) and practical communications network computer aided
design (Reference 2).
1990 Received a Doctor of Engineering .
Dissertation title is "Capacity and Flow Assignment of Packet-Switched Networks."
1991 Promoted to manager of European and American Section, International Division
of NTT.
1992 Joined Athena Telecom Lab, Inc.
Member of Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers of Japan, Operations Research Society of Japan, and American Association for Artificial Intelligence.
